Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, the box not opened, product not taken off from the box and in the same condition as you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase which you can find while placing order.

To start a return, you can contact us by email.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you an instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without return request will not be accepted.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card operator to process your refund.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Cancelations

For your responsibility (Customer Remorse):

A 1,5% to 3% depending on payment method of transaction fee or total transaction charges (which ever is higher) for order charged to us by transaction processing institutions would be charged for cancellation. Please note if customer ordered a pre-ordered bike from our range marked at the description as pre-order, and made a payment already without consulting availability and delivery time with Electric Power and with any reason looking for refund we will process it deducted by transaction fee, we automatically were charged by transaction operators for this order, non refundable for us which is usually 1.5% for Stripe and 3% for PayPal or even higher for Klarna. If customer made a payment without consulting the availability of the bike which is advised at each order and looking for refund due to no stock we do so deducted by transaction fee mentioned above which can vary depending on payment method for transaction fee we had been charged by payment merchant.

In case the customer purchased the bike and we started to processing the order like the payment to our supplier for the bike and shipping fee paid by us already, the return and refund is only possible after the customer returned the package to us. In case when customer changed his mind and looking for cancellation for order and refund but tracking number was given to customer (meaning the package is on the way) we can only do that when the package arrived to customer and then was returned back to us as we have no control of the package during the shipping (like cancelling the shipping, change of address) once the tracking number was given and delivery time. The products we sell are usually extremely heavy and shipping charge is expensive for us even we offer free shipping to our customer. Please note we always make an huge effort to deliver the package the quickest as possible way to every customer however delivery time is usually 3 to 7 days, meaning it’s approximately delivery time and can be shorter or longer from any reason not controlled by us like Bank Holidays, weekend orders, suppliers shipping methods, collections times of the package from us or our suppliers or by the courier companies or many other reasons.

We reserve the right to cancel any order in relation to harassment, false accusations, rude behavior or incorrect understanding of terms and conditions on the website for delivery times, order processing terms, return and refund policy and reckless orders (placing order and immediate canceling the order). Therefore we process refund deducted of transaction fee we were charged which is always non refundable for us by transaction processing institutions. Customer, by placing order on the website accepts above terms and conditions.

Exchanges

We do not do the exchanges once the product was opened or used. If you need to exchange it and your product hasn’t been opened or used please contact us by email info@electricpower.ie.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: info@electricpower.ie

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Please also note that some of the products we ship are sent out from outside of Ireland.

Warranty

Please note we provide manufacturer’s warranty for all the bikes and scooters we sell. The general warranty period is 12 months for most of the bikes and scooters and 6 months for selected models and other products we offer. Please note 3, 6 to 12 months manufacturer’s warranty applies for bike and scooter’s components like Electric Parts (controllers, chargers, lain/auxiliary cables display – LCD screen, pedal assistance sensor, brake levels, accelerators, front and rear brakes, headlights, tailgates, motor, motor hall, motor bearing, battery, battery box, battery top cover. 6 to 12 months manufacturer’s warranty applies for Basic Parts like frame, front for components, handlebars, folding tubes, saddle tubes, brakes, brake rotors, brake lines, saddle, bracket, fenders, rear racks, pedals, grips, cranks, chain rings, front hubs, rear hubs, chain, ringer shifter, rear derailleur, rear derailleur plastic cover, fly wheel, shock absorber. Please not we require feedback within 7 days from delivery date of the product in relation to appearance parts like handlebar cover, seat cushion, pedals, tires, fenders, surface paint, brake discs and brake pads, spokes conditions and general bike visual. After 7 days period of no any feedback we consider the product as delivered with no issues and cannot cover this parts under warranty. If you’re looking for more information for any brand warranty’s period for specific components please contact us. If you found manufacturer’s and non human caused issue during warranty period please contact us via email at support@electricpower.ie. We will contact manufacturer of the bike in behalf and investigate the problem. We require the video of the issue which will be reviewed by qualified engineer of the brand representative. We are always happy to help with any warranty issue to send free parts for the bike. We are not responsible for repairing the bike directly by us what states at MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY means explained. The manufacturer of particular brand is responsible for warranty claim issue however Electric Power is available to assist in behalf for warranty claim. We contact manufacturer to proceed with warranty claim in behalf for customer request. We supply the required parts within certain time shipped by a brand and customers need to fit the parts on their own or we can help at some cases or it can be determined by manufacturer. Some of the brands we sell in event of issue let the customer bring the bike/scooter into local bike shop or selected shop associated with the brand to schedule repair free of charge.

Important: please note we do not take any responsibility for purchasing, eligibility and using the products we sell on public roads by any methods of payments and orders (Card, PayPal, Stripe, Bank Transfer, Bike To Work Scheme etc). We consider customers as they are aware of the local regulations, rules and eligibility for purchasing and using the products we sell.
